Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By using https://www.designstrategists.ioyou agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. These terms cover the website only. Any engagement or hire between a client and a designer is governed by a separate written agreement.

2. What we do and don't promise

Design Strategistsintroduces organizations to designers for full-time, fractional and contract roles. We vet the people in our network in good faith, but we are an introducer, not an employer of those individuals. We don't guarantee that a suitable match exists, that an introduction results in an engagement, or the outcome of any engagement.

3. Using the site

• Give accurate information in any form you submit
• Only upload files you have the right to share
• Don't scrape, resell or bulk-extract content or profiles from the site
• Don't attempt to disrupt the site or gain unauthorized access to it
• Don't submit unlawful, misleading or infringing content

4. Applications and requests

Submitting an application does not create any offer or obligation on either side, and we may decline any application or request at our discretion. Joining the network does not guarantee work.

5. Fees

Browsing the site, submitting a request, applying to the network and taking introductory calls are free. Where an engagement proceeds, fees are set out in the written agreement signed before work begins.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you submit. You grant us a limited license to store it, review it, and, where you have consented, share it with prospective clients for the purpose of matching.

7. Our content

The site, its design, and our written resources belong to Design Strategists. You may read, download and share our resources for your own professional use, with attribution. You may not republish them commercially without written permission.

8. No circumvention

If we introduce you to a designer, please don't engage or hire them directly outside our agreement for twelve months in order to avoid our fees. The same applies in reverse.

9. Liability

The site is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, arising from your use of the site or from any introduction made through it.
